I wanna rowwww :
{Anyway, since everyone has trouble understanding the ads from the pevious post, i shall do some explaining here. (tho this is rather like explaining your own joke, and takes the fun out of everything :\ oh and Elisa, i'm sure you cant get them! tut tut tut! :D)
Ok see for the Lego one, the crucial part is the tagline. Altho that only really matters if you've figured out that the Legos form a periodic table. Tagline says, "make anything", and science studs should know that when they're armed with elements from the periodic table, they can indeed "make anything", water, plastic, gold, whatever, only you cant make this advert anymore obvious or else it will become an insult to our intelligence ;
) The second one is a spoof of typical
The Economist ads. Except that this time, instead of some thought-provoking quote, you have this female CEO saying that she's never read
The Economist! Shock & horror! I
WONDER how she made her way to the top then?
Hmmm. (Haha ET it isn't that bad really, at least it's specific to one female in the ad and not like females as a whole.. I'd be fuming if they said something like, "Girls won't need
The Economist with Wonderbra." :D)
Yup. There you go! :)
Aiight.. Just to test your understanding a little, here's another ad:
Let's see if you get
the inside joke :}
Labels: adrant, cool beans :), PoP
go to, then; your considerate stone.
